Who is this for?
Everyone! Whether you're new to biking or fitness, you can participate. This is a family-friendly, beginner-friendly event designed for all levels. You can choose how hard or easy you want to make it.
What if I don't have a bike?
No problem! Cahaba Cycle has rental options available. When you register, you can choose to rent a manual bike or E-bike.
Can I bring my own bike?
Absolutely! When you register, you can select the option to bring your own bike.
How long is the ride?
The evening ride will be approximately 5 miles at a comfortable pace (10-12 mph). The entire event runs from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
Will there be ride options?
Just one ride at a chill, community pace. This is meant to be fun and inclusive—not a soul-crushing workout. Everyone rides together.
Will there be ride leaders?
Yes! We'll have experienced ride leaders to keep the group together and ensure everyone has a great experience.
What's the workout like?
The workout will be led by professional coaches from Birmingham's top gyms. It's designed for all fitness levels, so you can make it as hard or easy as you'd like. Not a competition—just a fun, community experience.
Can I bring my kids?
Yes! This is a family-friendly event. Kids are welcome. Just make sure they can pedal at a comfortable pace or ride in a trailer/kids seat.
What else should I bring?
If you're bringing your own bike, make sure it's in good condition. We also recommend bringing a helmet, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a water bottle.
What is the block party like?
After the ride and workout, stick around for live music, food from local vendors, and drinks. It's a true community celebration!
